The Beginning

I grew up in a small town where everybody knows everybody — and everybody has an opinion about everything. I was always the quiet one. The girl in the back of class with her nose in a sketchbook, doodling when she should have been taking notes. I had two best friends, a cat named Jinx, and a whole secret world nobody knew about.

See, on the outside I was the "good girl." Straight A's, never missed curfew, always said please and thank you. But on the inside? I was dying to break free. I'd spend hours scrolling through fashion blogs, trying on outfits in my room, posing in the mirror when nobody was looking. I always knew there was a bolder, braver, sexier version of me waiting to come out.

I just needed the right moment.

Finding My Confidence

It started the summer after I turned 18. I moved to the city for the first time and suddenly I was surrounded by people who were unapologetically themselves. Artists, models, free spirits — people who didn't care what anyone thought. Something clicked inside me.

I started experimenting with my style. The oversized hoodies got replaced with crop tops. The ponytails turned into messy waves. I bought my first set of matching lingerie — black lace, obviously — and when I looked in the mirror, I didn't see the shy girl from small town anymore. I saw someone powerful. Someone beautiful. Someone who deserved to be seen.

That's when I picked up a camera for the first time. And honestly? It changed everything.

Why I Started This Page

I'd been sharing photos with close friends for a while, and everyone kept telling me the same thing: "Lulu, you need to do this for real." At first I was terrified. Putting yourself out there like that? For the whole world? The shy girl inside me was screaming "no way."

But the new Lulu — the real Lulu — whispered, "do it."
