An honest, unscripted day in the life of an adult content creator, including the mundane, the exciting, and everything in between.
Morning: Coffee and Connection
My typical morning starts slowly with coffee, scrolling through messages from subscribers, and checking social media. I am not a morning person by nature, so I ease into the day gently before ramping up my energy for whatever is on the schedule.
Morning is also when I handle the business side: checking analytics, responding to collaboration inquiries, and planning the week ahead. It is less glamorous than people imagine, but it is essential.
Afternoon: Create and Capture
Afternoons are for creating. Whether I am shooting new content, editing previous material, or working on special projects, this is when my creative energy peaks. The natural light in my space is perfect during these hours, making it ideal for photography.
On non-shooting days, afternoons might be spent running errands, working out, or meeting friends. My life is not all content creation, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle is important for sustained creativity and happiness.
Evening: Wind Down and Engage
Evenings are for engaging with my community, publishing new content, and gradually winding down. I check in with my most active subscribers, respond to outstanding messages, and maybe tease upcoming content.
Then I transition into personal time: cooking dinner, watching shows, reading, or simply relaxing. Boundaries between work and personal life are crucial for avoiding burnout in this career.
